The movie focuses on four of the most popular episodes that were originally episodes of the show. The final two segments are based on the episodes that deal with a child's telekinetic powers and a man's fear of flying.Д«ased on the popular television show, Twilight Zone: The Movie takes four of the most memorable tales and redevelops them for the more modern times. Accepting the gift, the residents find themselves transformed and play as children however, when the man asks them if they would like to stay as children or be changed back, they realize the value of growing up and choose to return to their normal selves, a little wiser for the experience. One night he calls the residents outside and offers them the chance to be children again and to have the opportunity to play as they did in their youths. A new resident arrives and seems to have a bit of magic in him that revives the youthful tendencies of the other tenants. The second segment, 'Kick the Can,' focuses on the residents of a retirement home and their efforts to deal with the effect their aging has on their lives.
